Person Hit By Commuter Rail Train At Concord Crossing (Developing)

A portion of downtown Concord was closed after a Commuter Rail train struck person on the tracks the morning of Wednesday, Aug. 31, Concord Police said. 

Multiple crews were on the scene around 10:30 a.m. including a Boston MedFlight helicopter, police added. 

The incident shut down Commonwealth Avenue from Main Street to Law Brooks road and also shut off Church Street, police said. The Fitchburg line was also delayed for up to 45 minutes, the MBTA said on Twitter.

No officials word yet on the person's injuries. This is a developing story so check back for updates.
